Dear Friends,
As Thursday approaches, there are many challenges that have to be met in Boarhills, Dunino and St Andrews Holy Trinity each week. Because we send out our services in print to all parts of the world, (quite literally) and because all our printing has to be done on Friday morning, everything has to be ready by Thursday morning. You would be astonished at how quickly Thursday arrives after Monday! Running any organisation efficiently is always going to be a challenge, and the more efficient the organisation becomes, the more challenges arise. Any organisation can so easily become a victim of its own success.
We in BD&HT are very fortunate to have Helen, our Administrator, to keep us all right. But she, like the rest of us, is only as good as the information she is given. And information sometimes comes in late, and occasionally not at all. We can all help her by being as prompt and as precise as possible with our requests so that she can do her best to make sure there are no clashes in our calendar.
This Sunday we shall be thinking about the commands of Jesus to ‘Go … and make disciples’. As we make more disciples, more and more people will want to use our buildings. That can only be a good thing. But we must make sure that the church calendar is as up to date as possible.
