Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. The evening takes the form of a meal, a talk and group discussions. There is no pressure. No follow up. No charge.

Come along and experience what it’s all about at our

Taster Evening – Wednesday 20th September, 6.30pm

The 9 week course starts on Wednesday 4th October at 6pm

All sessions are held in the H & M Aisle, of Holy Trinity Church, South Street, St Andrews. Please enter between the two red ‘Trinity’ banners.

To sign up for the Taster Evening or Alpha Course, please email alphastandrews@gmail.com, stating your name and any dietary requirements you might have.

The Alpha course is open to anyone interested in discovering what Christianity is about and to ask questions about faith in a safe place. It’s somewhere you can come to meet new people, eat, share thoughts and explore the meaning of life. Some of the talks include subjects such as:

Who is Jesus and why did Jesus die?
How does God guide us?
Why and how do I pray?
What about the Church?

Guests come on the Alpha course  from all walks of life and for many different reasons; some want to investigate whether God exists and some have questions they’d like to discuss. Others might want a ‘refresher’ in their faith. Many guests have never been to church and others may have attended church but feel they have never had a personal understanding of the Christian faith.

For further information on the Alpha course you can visit the Alpha website or email our Alpha coordinator Margaret Torrance.
